EBC's "A Christian Carol"

This past weekend I got to do all the makeup for Eastland Baptist Church's Christmas drama - "A Christian Carol". I really enjoy this drama because I get to use my creativity on the character "Marley". Saturday night was pretty exhausting - I ended up doing more people than I planned/thought there were going to be. Needless to say I was RUSHING to finish by starting time! Sunday night went more smoothly. It's funny how little girls like gushing over people getting their makeup done. They love anticipating their turn & asking TONS of questions...and inputing their ideas on what the makeup looks like as it progresses :D
One of the guys kept track of how long it took me to do makeup on Sunday night, and told me afterwards I  stood there for 2 hours applying makeup! Whew! I'm glad time flies when you're actually applying makeup! I think I'd have a heart-attack if I was watching the clock as I did makeup!   .......20-30 faces anyone??
I try to have a good spirit about learning new things from other people when it comes to makeup. Sometimes its hard when the person who has "experience" doesn't come across well. But, in the end everything always comes out great. They give, I give; we try, erase, try again, and so on. All that matters is the final look to look perfect upon entrance of their part.
One thing I need to practice for next time is getting the white makeup to STAY on his hands. I'm not sure if the reason it kept wiping off was because we did his makeup an hour & a half before the show, or if it was the way I applied it? Following are the steps I used in transforming this character:
                              -MARLEY-
FACE: Smashbox Face Primer; Ben Nye cream white face paint; Ben Nye cream face paint in blue & brown (age spots); Ben Nye old age color wheel in brown & cream (wrinkle lines); Ben Nye cream face paint in brown  (under eye darkness); White liquid hair color (hair & brows).
HANDS: Smashbox Face Primer; Ben Nye cream white face paint; MAC tubed eye color in taupe (darkness to add depth for skeleton appearance); Ben Nye cream face paint in blue & brown (age spots)

                             -SCROOGE-
Covergirl foundation in shades 2 & 3; MAC face powder; MAC rouge (mixed two shades); Ben Nye old age color wheel in brown & cream (wrinkle lines); Urban Decay black eyeliner; Smashbox Black Mascara
