[Home] Idea Book

I have always loved putting idea books together, especially since my junior year in HS, when we did them at vo-tech. I keep pictures of furniture, decorating ideas, etc etc. Recently, I haven't done anything with them - SO tonight I've been working on putting all those papers in a binder! YAY! This is a really easy way to keep your ideas together! Just cut, paste & insert into your binder! You can do a general idea book; Holidays; by room - bathroom, kitchen, living, etc; outside; recipes & more!

Materials:
*Binder
*Clear page inserts
*Tabbed dividers
*Scissors
*Tape (or other adhesive)
*Pictures of ideas
*Paper to decorate front cover

Organizing Paper Tutorial by Little Monsters Studio

Today I'm featuring a blog that I just LOVE! She creates the cutest birthday decorations & can even personalize them for you! You can find her blog here or her Etsy shop here. She posted this awhile ago, but I liked the idea she had on organizing your paper!

I found some wire storage cubes on the sears.com website.. and lucky for me. .they were on sale for $16.99 (I hear they go on sale all the time) not only that but it was a pack of 6 cubes!.. Usally they come in packs of 4.
Fortuniatly for me, they were available at my local Sears, so I didnt have to pay for shipping! SCORE!

Then I picked up some small black zip ties at Lowe's .$4.00

So I got to work!!!!... I made two of the cubes as per the insturctions..

Then, with the remaining "sides" I created shelves and tied them on with the zip ties! and thats it!!!
Each cube could make 8 shelves!!

this is 8 shelves less the the one I was gonna buy, but I bought 2 sets of 6 cubes.. so if need be, I can always add more cubes !!

Total Cost was $20.99 plus tax.. not bad right!!!

Day 6: 21 day challenge

HA! So I totally did NOT keep to this challenge! I think I really just wanted to get those few areas I never clean, cleaned. But I did another closet the other day, so I'll post the before and after pics. Buckets, small shelf & liner were purchased at Big Lots.

Day 5: Under Master Bathroom Sink

What a disaster!! Since we were snowed in today (and yesterday), I went into cleaning & organizing mode! After cleaning out the drawers & under the sink, I added some buckets, Big Lots $3. I also threw out a BUNCH of stuff that has been sitting under there for 3 years!

21 Days to get Organized Challenge...

Day 3: Linen Closet

Oh boy! My linen closet was EMBARRASSING! This is usually where all the blankets and "extra stuff" gets thrown - away forever & forever, never to be seen again! I feel GREAT about my closet now! I purchased a decorative box at Target for around $6 (Keeps all the sheets).

21 Days to get Organized Challenge...

I found this blogger's site, and decided to take this challenge! I hate to post things not related to makeup, but this could be helpful to anyone! I am going to add a step towards the end on how to organize your makeup...so stay tuned! OH, and I may not go in order how this blog is taking the challenge, but I will post all days!

Day 1: Junk Drawer

I have ALWAYS hated my junk drawer in the kitchen ~ so I was excited about this challenge! I found the organizer at Target for around $9 (my drawer is very slim, so I had a hard time finding one to fit).
