TIP #2
    Go for the glow. If you want to pull off a bronzed, sun-kissed look, use a shimmering bronzer on your lids instead of your usual eye shadow. You can also play with a shimmering copper, gold or burnt orange shade to create a sultrier look this season. These colors will stand out even more on tanned skin, and are perfect for more casual, beachy ensembles.

TIP #1

    Use a primer on the lids. One of the most common & frustrating problems we face during the summertime is running makeup. If your eye shadow cracks, disappears or becomes oily in the heat, apply a layer of eye shadow primer to the lids to keep the eye shadow in place. Blend a small dot of primer on the lids and let it dry before you apply your eye shadow. You can find eye shadow primer anywhere you usually buy your makeup!

Life recently

Lately I've been doing wedding makeup with Faccia Bella! It's really fun and exciting! I'm trying to get pictures from them, but still haven't....but hopefully SOON so I can add them to my portfolio!

I've been looking up burlesque/showgirl makeup, and decided to start doing some looks! I'm excited because I love the glitter, color, eye liner, bight lipstick & LASHES!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! So I'm going to spend the next few days practicing!

Whitney's Wedding

I loved doing Whitney's makeup! Of all the weddings I've done so far, she is the only one who wanted COLOR! So I was excited to do her eye makeup! We went with a darker green and did a lighter version of a smokey eye [which, went awesome with her beautiful red hair!]

Faccia Bella

I've started working with Faccia Bella again, and have been busy lately doing wedding "trials" (bride practice makeups) and weddings! This month I am going to be SUPER busy with weddings! Pretty exciting! Later in the month I also have a photo shoot/portrait session I'm doing with around 7 people! Its exciting getting to work with all the brides, but I'm glad its not full-time  :)  I enjoy the part-time employment with my daughter here now :)  I do not have any pictures from the wedding I did a few weeks ago, but as soon as I get them, I will post!

Day 6: 21 day challenge

HA! So I totally did NOT keep to this challenge! I think I really just wanted to get those few areas I never clean, cleaned. But I did another closet the other day, so I'll post the before and after pics. Buckets, small shelf & liner were purchased at Big Lots.
