Phone Prints

Anyone out there ever PRINT pictures from your phone? I don't think I have ever printed pictures I've taken with my phone...I save them to my computer instead :)  Here's a cute [kawaii] idea for printing those pictures!

FYI: If you follow my blog & have noticed my lack of posts this month, I apologize! We are in the midst of packing/moving/building, so my mind is preoccupied & a little scattered with all that. I've kept most of my craft stuff out, but so much of my "stuff" has been packed that I've been a little uninspired to be creative. SO, until we get into the new house (roughly 2-3 months), any posts I make will be contributing to other sites I find & love, Makeup & link-ups to other blogs.

Beautiful face in 1-2-3

Please excuse the overall look in these pictures. I decided to do this last minute :)

I am going to show you a simple & easy summer look that doesn't take much time at all! Also, all of the products I am going to use are "store brand" products...you CAN achieve a beautiful look without spending a ton on makeup products!

Products Used:
*Physicians Formula Mineral Correcting Powder
*Physicians Formula Mineral Loose Powder
*Physicians Formula Bronzer
*Jemma Kidd Blush

BEFORE

AFTER
Apply concealer over entire face, making sure to cover any dark spots & blemishes. Apply powder to entire face. Using your bronzer, apply (a little at a time) right under your cheek bone, under lower lip, neck & forehead. Last, apply blush.

Makeup Geek
She shows how to contour using cream or powder products

This one is a bit long, so start around the 3min mark. She also has a cool tip on how to get rid of some of the powder-look (if your face starts to look too powdery).

Before now, I hardly contoured my clients because for one, I never really knew how to, but also, I always thought it was hard. After watching these tutorials, I'm going to start contouring ALL of my clients!! I think their pictures will come out soo much nicer too!

Tools of the Trade:

1. Urban Decay Blush Brush - $32

2. MAC 168 Large Angled Contour Brush - $34

3. Sephora Pro Natural Fan Brush - $27

Open House

I'm SO excited! The company I work for has a new location & is hosting an Open House today from 1-4p! We are at 7th & Elwood, in downtown Tulsa. April, the owner has come so far since she first started her business (I forget exactly, but around 5yrs maybe?). When I started working for her she had only started about a year before. But WOW! Congrats April!! This year will be by far the busiest!! Yesterday she had a segment on Fox 23, here's the video!

Good Nights Sleep

Ever wonder how some beds are more soft & comfortable than others? Or how to achieve that fluffy look? I know for me, the bedroom is my weakness for decorating! I see a lot of bed stuff I like, but can't ever create them in my room. I came across this video and thought it was SOO helpful. I especially like how she layers the lighter blanket under the heavier one so you can take away a layer if you're too hot (or add it if your cold). I hope to create this idea into my room as well as my daughters.
